The Globalist "Elite" and New World Order shut it down.
Two of their children were committed to an insane asylum. I find that concerning not to mention how his wife passed.
Dorothy Quincy Hancock’s house (his wife) still stands in Quincy MA. It’s not far from the fancy Adam’s house. I’m trying to figure out when it’s open for visiting.
Overdone. Every room looks like an argument with no winner.
Fico muito triste em saber que essas casas são demolidas e que a história vira um monte de entulhos. 😔
I don't remember the last remodel (90's or early 2000's) but after it reopened the Cliff House became a very over priced restaurant. That discouraged me and a lot of others from eating there.
It got taken over by squatters 😮😮😮
This is what I would have done if I won 1bill powerball. See how long it takes to spend it all. With all that money could have have family set for generations, F that I’m gonna spend it. It cool interesting story though
That seemed like a wonderful place. This was a loss.
This house is one of my favorite places on earth. I was born in San Jose, but I only went here once. However, I loved everything about that house. I love how Sarah was an inventor, as well as an architect/designer. She doesn’t get enough credit for that.
His story echoed that of Barbara Hutton's " the poor little rich girl" who lost her mother at a very young age.
Thanks for this. My house is actually made up of many of the iconic pieces featured in your video. Fireplace, mahogany ceilings, library bookcases, guest room doors with crystal doorknobs.
I aspire to have "grand follies" level money 😄Those garden grounds were amazing.
A gorgeous video. Well done!
The Oakland hills have some beautiful estates. Some are grand, others are beautiful because they allow multiple generations of a family to live on the land. Gargantuan redwoods, ground fed springs, and a view of the city from the hills. Paradise.
Went there 40 years ago will always love the whole house thanks 🌹
Channels nowadays are just so monotone but not yours!
Beautiful😊
Mc Donald's replaced a historical piece of culture...😮
You KIDDING ME?? A McDonalds? 😂😂🤦♀️🤦♀️🙄🙄🙄 Wow that house was beautiful. Typical of America to destroy historic homes.
Best of the Bonzai trees were given to the Arnold Arboretum in Jamaica Plain MA a short distance away from Weld which today is known a Larz Anderson Park in Brookline MA. A Japanese bronze eagle from the Anderson estate is today housed at the Fine Arts museum of Boston College ,Chestnut Hill MA. Lastly ,much of the houses furnishings were removed before to house fire some ended up belonging to neighbors located in nearby Roslindale Ma including some Japanese furniture and the house gong which is now owned by a friend of mine .
What a neat video. Good pacing.
Is this where Madow got married from S Sacramento's had her wedding at ?
The roofline reminds me of the 1930s addition to Eltham Palace in south London ❤
It's very frustrating when you show the floor plans and they're so fuzzy we can't even read it. If you can't show it in focus, don't waste our time.
Please please please learn to read to SOUND LIKE YOU AREN’T READING. When you do a voiceover like this, you need to sound like you are talking to us, explaining the information to us. Otherwise it’s just SUPER irritating.
I LOVE old houses! Thanks, Ken.
Your videos are interesting and generally well done. One note: something cannot be "most unique" -- it it either unique (one of a kind) or not. Instead of "unique," use "unusual." Or, describe how it is unique and avoid the generic word "unique."
was governor weld a descendant?
Kudos to everyone involved in this project. I'm very happy when history is preserved.
Beautiful mansion, as they all seemed to be. Thanks Ken,
"The Little Paris of the Midwest" .... sure, Jan
I went several years ago, but stayed off property. I would love to go back and stay on property for a few days. I loved everything about the mansion, the grounds and the shopping/dining/winery area. I had the best burger of my entire life in one of the restaurants and everything at that establishment was sourced on property.
